Fully Funded

This blog post is way overdue, but the excitement remains!

A few weeks ago, I had gotten home from work & was talking to Colte. Mid-conversation, my mom texted me asking if I was fully funded & included a screenshot of my fundraising bar completely full. As far as I knew, I still needed over $4,000 and had no idea what she was talking about.

I went to my blog & saw for myself that my fundraising bar was full. My first thought was that it was a mistake, so I logged in to my World Race account to see what was up. Low & behold, on my donation break down, it showed an anonymous donation of $4,135. I was appalled. Why would any single person donate that much money to my trip?? I just couldn't believe it.

Thank you to whoever donated. It means the world to know someone out there would do that for me & trust the voice of the Lord in donating so much!

So there it is, I'm FULLY FUNDED. God works in such cool ways and I'm so excited to see how He will continue to provide financially for my squadmates!

Big thank you to everyone who bought a t-shirt, participated in adopt-a-box, donated to my garage sales, donated directly to my trip, & everything in between. I am so appreciative of every single dollar that was donated.

Launching Soon

If you haven't heard, my squad & I will be starting in Costa Rica in January!! On January 8th, I will board my plane to Atlanta to meet up with my squad & have a few more days of training. Then, on January 12th, my squad & I will leave for Costa Rica! We don't know where at or which ministry we're working with, but no matter what, I know it will be amazing! 

That being said, am filled with all sorts of emotions. Mostly excitement, but also some nervousness knowing I will be away from all my friends & family for an entire year:( 

I have 40 days till I leave. I'd love to hang out & meet up with people before then, so please reach out and let me know when you'd be available to grab coffee or lunch or do something fun!
