ok here it is... the update you've been waiting on (or maybe forgot you were waiting on)
 
You probably realized I'm not in Africa right now and COVID kinda messed up my entire year (just like everyone else). I was originally supposed to be in Africa June & July. When that trip was canceled, I switched to the August-November one. Low & behold, that trip was canceled too.
 
That being said, I am excited to announce that I will now be leaving in January and will be gone 11 MONTHS!!! This trip is called World Race 11n11. Meaning we are supposed to go to 11 countries in 11 months. Obviously with COVID restrictions we might not get to go to a full 11, but there is still LOTS of hope that it will be pretty similar! My team & I will travel to Costa Rica, Thailand, India, and eSwatini, and then explore the neighboring countries as well, all with the goal of preaching the gospel & loving/serving those around us.
 
I have been dreaming, hoping, and praying to go on this 11n11 trip for years now. This opportunity has only been made possible because of the one, true, living God that we get to serve.
 
*I know its been forever since I made an update! Thank you for sticking through it with me! With SO many uncertainties with the trips and not to mention a slight career change in my life (LOL), I was really trying to have a semi-solid response before posting anything:)
 
**Quick little testimony... You have to be 21yrs old for this trip, but most of you know that I just turned 20. My advisor said they've never made an exception that big before. But after a quick phone call & lots of prayer, the exception was made and I was accepted on this trip!
