Growing up my dad was SO strict about everything I said about myself. Whether I was joking or not, if it wasn’t positive, I couldn’t say it. It was annoying at the time, but I am SO thankful he did that for me (even though I didn’t always listen). But seriously, it’s so important to be aware of how you are speaking to yourself. It will change your mood, your day, and the overall outcome of your life. Instead of speaking (or thinking) how you feel about yourself, speak truth over yourself. God has made each of us perfectly in His image. He designed you and created you exactly how he wanted you to be. He created you with a purpose and you are they way you are for a reason!! Below are some of the truths that I frequently speak over myself. These truths are from the God of the universe. The King of all Kings. Read through them slowly & with confidence. And believe them to be true about YOU. (& if you have kids, teach them these. Speak truth & tell them who they are. Even if they get sick of it. Even if they get annoyed. They will appreciate it one day.)

I am loved.

I am blessed.

I am chosen.

I am called.

I am made in the image of God.

I am kept in peace.

I am beautiful.

I am saved.

I am alive in Christ.

I am a child of God.

I am redeemed.

I am made new.

I am the daughter of the one true King.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

I am a masterpiece.

I am filled with joy & hope.

I am never alone.

I am protected.

I am healed.

I am thankful.

I am priceless.

I am taken care of.

I am kept in peace.

I am heard.

I am powerful.

I am enough.

I am who the I am says I am.

*I have lots of these sticky noted around my house as a constant reminder & I highly encourage you to do the same:)
